“Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven.” -Matthew 18:19 KJV
Prayer is one of the greatest tools that the Christian disciple can use to establish communication with God. During his earthly stay, Jesus was intentional to starting and finishing each day in prayer (Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16). The power and daily provision that we need is found in the presence of God. Yet, prayer is the vehicle that transports us to hearing His voice and to share with Him our burdens and petitions. He hears us when we pray and will certainly answer us (Jeremiah 33:3; 1 John 5:14-15). I encourage you to seek God today in prayer: He is close to you and will come to your rescue. He is our refuge and strength, always ready to help us when we need it most (Psalm 46:1).
